LA Chair is a curatorial project highlighting contemporary chairs in the Los Angeles region.

The aim of this project is to create a working archive of chairs designed and made in LA over the past 25 years, culminating in a publication: “LA Chair” (2026ish).

We are at the very beginning stages…

The first event was held at the Stephen Kenn Loft in the Arts District in DTLA in collaboration with programming for Los Angeles Design Weekend.

As of now, I am pursuing a research grant to give this project the boost it needs - therefore I will be holding off on publishing more about the project for now!
